Project “Formula student“
For the first time in Lithuania, students and lecturers from the Department of Automotive Transport have built a Formula Student racing car that complies with international requirements to compete in student competitions held in various foreign countries.
The project covered a wide range of areas: research, design, production, testing, creation, business organisation and management. And the students had the honour of demonstrating their knowledge and competences in the development of a real product, which was also adapted to professional motorsport!
The first electric kart in Lithuania
College students always find ways to pleasantly surprise you!
Designed and built by students, Lithuania’s first electric kart rivals even traditional professional petrol bikes, sometimes in sporting events, and can reach speeds of up to 120 km/h and run for up to 1 hour on a single charge. However, the biggest advantage of this generation is its eco-friendliness and environmental friendliness.
Advanced solutions such as lithium-ion batteries, fibreglass composite, 3D printing and CNC technology were used to create the car.
Inspiring lecturers – experts in their field
