13-14 March 2024 Associate Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Project Coordinator Airida Tylienė and Dr. Andrius Gulbinas, Project Researcher, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering, participated in the first Erasmus+ project “Discover the Know-How of Construction Professionals” No. 2023-1-TR01-KA220-VET-000150804 partner meeting in Eskisehir, Turkey.

The meeting of the partners of the new project was attended by representatives of all 7 project partners: from the project promoter institution, Eskisehir Technical University (Republic of Turkey), and the project partner institutions: Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (Republic of Turkey), Vilnius College of Technology and Design (Republic of Lithuania), Warsaw Technical University (Republic of Poland), Polish Association of Construction Managers (Republic of Poland), Insaat Malzemeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Sti. (Republic of Turkey) and TAV Tepe Akfen Investment Construction and Operations Co.

The meeting included a brief presentation of the partner institutions and companies, a sharing of good practices from previous Erasmus+ projects, a detailed discussion of the new project “Discover the Know-How of Construction Professionals” (No. 2023-1-TR01-KA220-VET-000150804). The project discussion provided background information on the project and the dates of implementation of the individual project activities, the project website under development, and presented the project’s objectives and expected results. Each set of work and project activities is also discussed in detail: from project administration to project publicity, from situation analysis and inventory to testing the application and building the database. The first project partners’ meeting also set the date for the next project partners’ meeting: the second project partners’ meeting will take place in Warsaw on 25-28 June 2024.
