The aim of the project is to update the study programmes “Thermal Engineering”, “Mechanical Engineering” and “Rolling Stock Operation”, taking into account the changing trends in the labour market, by applying new, innovative teaching methods, and to improve the qualification and competences of lecturers, by means of trainings and internships.

The project aims: to develop the planning, organisation and evaluation of the course, to select contemporary models, technologies, strategies and methods of teaching/learning, taking into account the objectives of the module/discipline and other content parameters, and to adopt the experience of theories of study at national and international level.

Project results: The project has improved the curricula in the fields of Energy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport Engineering in the fields of “Thermal Engineering”, “Mechanical Engineering” and “Operation of Rolling Stock”, introduced new teaching methods, technologies and strategies, and upgraded the qualification of lecturers.
The project will not only improve these study programmes, integrating the applicability of new learning methods, technologies and strategies, but will also create the conditions to ensure the training of up-to-date professionals and their competitive edge in the labour market.

Project Management Team:
Project Manager Rūta Buivydienė – coordinates the implementation of the project activities, organises the work of the administration team, ensures the achievement of the expected results, communicates with the implementing authority.
Vida Dūdėnaitė, Financier – ensures proper accounting of project funds.
Administrator Renata Galiauskaitė – organises the implementation of the activities, manages the project documentation, organises the project publicity.
Lina Barškėtienė, Public Procurement Specialist, ensures proper implementation of public procurement procedures.
