Lavrinovic brothers' tandem beat the VTDK 20-year-old team

On Thursday afternoon, Vilnius College of Technologies and Design (VTDK) hosted a real basketball fiesta. Lithuanian basketball legends Darjuš and Kšyštof Lavrinovič and a bunch of well-known faces from the Lithuanian society came to congratulate the college on its 20th birthday.

The team “Kažkur matyti” took the court, represented not only by the aforementioned brothers, but also by Julius Omerta, who has been nominated several times in the M.A.M.A. awards, one of the most prominent and popular Lithuanian rap performers, LNK sports news anchor Adomas Grinius, coach of the Lithuanian 3×3 basketball team, amateur basketball legend Dainius Novickas, TV host Aurelijus Bezekavičius, radio hosts of the ZIP FM Radio show, Gedas Saročka and Haroldas Zenkovas, and others .

The team of famous people “Kažkur matyti” was seriously challenged by the “VTDK 20th Anniversary Basketball Team”, represented by Gintautas Matulis, a basketball player of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) team “Uniclub Casino – Juventus” from Utena, a graduate of VTDK.

The coaching helm was entrusted to the head coach of the best Lithuanian women’s basketball team Vilnius Kibirkštis, Gitautas Kievinas .

The match was won 100:95 by „Kažkur matyti“.

Darjuš Lavrinovič, who looks back on his youth, scored 39 points. He was well supported by his brother Kšyštof Lavrinović, who scored 16 points.

Gintautas Matulis, a graduate of VTDK, was unstoppable in the losers’ ranks, scoring 33 points.

After the event, all participants were rewarded with a backpack shower initiated by the Lavrinovič brothers.

The participants, beaming with good emotions, were eager to take photos with the spectators.
