On 19-23 February 2024, lecturer Vaiva Mickevičienė and associate professor Andrius Gulbinas lectured at the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, Portugal.

The lecturers of the Faculty of Construction of VTDK, together with students and lecturers from the Koimbra Polytechnic Institute, examined the principles of climate change and sustainable construction, shared their experience on wooden construction and Lithuania’s efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, and discussed the opportunities for student internships in Lithuania and abroad. Exploring the complexities of climate change, students put together a “Climate Fresco” and discussed the contribution of young people to changing the environment we live in.

With our partners from Portugal, we discussed the possibility of joining our faculty’s BIP projects, which are also very popular in their country.
