Meeting of the coordinators of the Erasmus+ international project "SIMOnS: Improving and Monitoring Students' Digital Skills" in Portugal

Vilnius College of Technology and Design is participating in the Erasmus+ Collaborative Partnership Project “SIMOnS: Students Improvement and Monitoring of ONline Skills”, No. 2023-1-PT01-KA220-HED-000160187.

The project will run from 1 September 2023 to 31 October 2025.

The project is implemented by 5 partners:

University of Maia,

Vilnius College of Technologies and Design,

University of Patras,

University of Vanvitelli,

University of Eastern Finland.

The aim of the project is to support and develop the digital literacy of higher education students by providing an attractive and innovative mobile learning and assessment tool. The project will strengthen digital education in higher education and will pursue three main objectives, each aligned with the project priorities.

On 1-2 February 2024, lecturers Brigita Šustickienė and Jolanta Pileckienė participated in the first meeting of the project partners, during which they presented the plan for the third work package, for which Vilnius College of Technology and Design is responsible for the activities, and the distribution of the work. During this visit, the coordinators introduced the partner educational institutions, designed the project logo, discussed the project’s promotion phases and further activities.
