In 2023 year November 14. Mindaugas Aleksandras Balčiauskas, Deputy Director of the Lithuanian Standards Department, gave a presentation on “Standardisation and its significance” to students and lecturers of the Faculties of Technology and Design. The lecturer introduced the audience to the national standardisation system, discussed the benefits of standards, explained how standards are important for business and how to get involved in the standardisation process. The presentation was followed by a short discussion and the lecturer answered questions from students and lecturers.

The guest lecture was organised by Daiva Beinortienė, Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
