On 20 March 2023, the traditional hands-on student conference “Environmental Protection and Engineering – 2023” was held to celebrate Earth Day.

Dr. Deividas Navikas, Dean of the Faculty of Construction, and Dr. Agnė Kazlauskienė, Advisor to the Lithuanian Association of Municipalities for Environment and Energy, participated in the conference and gave a welcoming speech to the gathered community.

This year’s conference featured 18 presentations on a wide range of topics in transport logistics and construction engineering solutions.

Participants had the opportunity to vote for their favourite presentation. The winner was Artūras Leonaitis, who presented “Industrial Revolution – 4.0 or 5.0? Where do we live?”

More than 70 students and lecturers attended the conference.
