Support for people with disabilities
Students with severe or moderate disabilities, 45% or less disability are invited to apply for financial support at the Study and Career Centre, Room 102 (Antakalnio Street 54).

Financial aid is available to students with disabilities, regardless of their mode of study, who meet the following conditions:
- have an incapacity for work of 45 per cent or less, or a severe or moderate disability;
- studying for the first time in an undergraduate programme after being diagnosed with a disability.
The following financial aid measures are available for students with disabilities:
- Targeted allowance to increase access to studies – a monthly allowance of 4 BSI (€196). The application period for the spring semester during the main admission period runs from 1 February to 16 March and for the autumn semester during the main admission period from 1 September to 16 October. Additional admissions take place on a monthly basis. Requests are submitted
- Social grant – a monthly grant of 6.5 BSI (€318.50). The application period for the spring semester is from 20 January to 20 February for the main intake and from 15 September to 10 October for the autumn semester for the main intake. Additional admissions take place monthly. Requests are submitted
- Special needs allowance – a targeted monthly allowance of 50% of the basic state social insurance pension (€123.11). Applications are completed at the Study and Career Centre from 1 September to 8 September.
- For students studying in places not funded by the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania, a targeted allowance of 3.2 times the basic social allowance set by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania (EUR 156.80) per semester to partially compensate for the cost of studies. Applications are completed at the Study and Career Centre from 1 September to 8 September.
