29 February 2024 The Faculty of Engineering hosted a publicity event for the Erasmus+ project “D-PBL: advancing project-based learning into the Digital Era”, No. 2021-1-PT01-KA220-HED-000032011. During the event, the project activities were presented – “Delphi research”, the results of which were made public by lecturer Brigita Šustickienė. The project coordinator Jolanta Pileckienė presented the intellectual products developed by the participants:

01 – EAD digital competences study.

02 – EAD Teaching Toolkit for trainers.

03 – Architecture of digital PBL elements.

During the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Dr Deividas Navikas, gave a presentation on “Presentation of a multilingual electronic photographic dictionary for mechanics”, the Director of the Public Enterprise “Circular Economy”, Domantas Tracevičius, presented the principles of the circular economy, and there was a lively discussion on the topics of ecological education and nature protection. Denis Tarasonis, IT engineer and software developer at Nortal, UAB, and Milda Simanauskaitė, Head of the Communication Department, presented an innovative presentation on artificial intelligence, “Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence”.

During the event, the new Erasmus+ international project “SIMOnS: Students Improvement and Monitoring of ONline Skills”, No. 2023-1-PT01-KA220-HED-000160187, in which Vilnius College of Technology and Design is a partner, was presented.
