In 2023, on 13-20 November, the lecturer of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Anna Glinskienė carried out a 40-hour traineeship at UAB “Betono apsaugos sistemos”.

The aim of the traineeship is to learn about innovative and modern building materials for concrete protection and renovation, as well as the latest technical solutions for specific problems, to acquire new competences, to deepen knowledge and improve professional skills.

During the traineeship, the lecturer got acquainted with the company’s activities, brands and products, as well as with innovative, sustainable and modern waterproofing and sealing materials, special cementitious mixes, floor coatings, materials for renovation and protection of concrete, for improvement of the durability and functionality of the concrete, polycrete products, inserts, and reinforcement bar joints.

During her traineeship, Anna Glinskienė interacted with the company’s existing and potential customers, and explored the possibilities and advantages of the company’s products. She also visited several sites (Moki-Veži shopping centre (Vilnius, Pilaitė), Čiurlionio St. viaduct (Vilnius), pedestrian viaduct on Pelesos St. (Vilnius)) to assess the performance of the materials on site.
