15 March 2023 A guest from UAB Equinox Europe visited the Faculty of Civil Engineering and gave a lecture on “Applicability of automated solutions for warehouse process organisation and management” to the 2nd and 3rd year full-time students of Transport Logistics.

The aim of the lecture is to familiarize students with the most common problems and solutions for companies when managing warehouse processes and to discuss the quantitative benefits of automated solutions.

During the lecture, the full-time students of the Transport Logistics study programme were introduced to the company UAB Equinox Europe, its services and products developed to improve the efficiency of warehouse processes. The representative of the company presented automated warehousing solutions, highlighted their benefits, discussed future perspectives and challenges.

Students will be able to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during the lecture to their independent assignments and practical work in the subjects Warehouses and Terminals and Warehouse Process Management, as well as to their final thesis.

The guest lecture was organised by Indrė Sprogytė-Bredelienė, Lecturer at the Department of Business and Public Management.
