29-30 June 2023 Dr. Rolandas Vitkūnas, Director of Vilnius College of Technology and Design, together with the Head of the Department of Automotive Transport Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering Petr Kaikaris, lecturers Dr. Donatas Kriaučiūnas and Jolanta Pileckiene, visited the JUNIOR-TALENTS company in the Federal Republic of Germany. During the visit, the VTDK team together with the company’s director had to implement the following activities:

1. Developing internationalisation of studies. The opportunities for students of the Automotive Maintenance, Automotive Electronics Systems, Energy Engineering, Transport Logistics, and Information Systems Engineering study programmes to undertake internships in Germany and Austria were discussed.

2. Developing strategic partnerships with businesses. The visit included a tour of student internship sites and equipment in German and Austrian companies, a meeting with two students interning at Pneuhage Autoservice, a meeting with company representatives, and a discussion about student internship opportunities.
3. Development of study subjects/modules for non-formal adult education (programmes). The possibilities of organising “Electromobility and High Voltage” training at Vilnius College of Technology and Design were discussed.
