In order to provide quality vocational training and meet the needs of today’s labour market, a strong attention is paid to the development of students’ general and subject-specific competences, and to cooperation with social partners. Visits and practical training in partner companies encourage interest in the chosen profession and facilitate integration into the labour market.
On 27 January 2022, upcoming train drivers had the opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of the work of Vaidotai railway station and the technology of the LTG Cargo marshalling yard. The students observed the work of a switchman, the processes of forming and unforming trains at close range.
