Electrical Safety Initial Category Course

During the course, the participant will become familiar with the hazards of electric currents to the human body, protection against electric currents, electromagnetic fields and the effects of an electric arc, and will learn how to apply the requirements of the rules of safety in the use of electrical equipment when organising and carrying out work on electrical equipment in operation.

Programme duration 50 hours
Initial competences required –
Programme content General electrical safety provisions.
Measures and methods of protection against electrical influences.
Safety rules for contracted works.
Power electronics.
Operation of electrical installations.
Electrical cables and overhead lines.
Electrical installations of switchgears and sub-stations.
Regulations on the use of electrical installations in special premises and technological processes.
Early voltage electrical installations.
Graduation certificate A certificate is issued upon completion of the training.
Location Vilnius College of Technologies and Design, Olandų str. 16, Vilnius.
Time Registration is currently closed.
Price 350 EUR. Courses start with a group of at least 3 people.
