Special-purpose rolling stock crane operator course

The aim of the training programme is to train special-purpose overhead crane operators who are able to work safely with special-purpose overhead cranes and aerial platforms.

Duration of the programme 64 ac. hours
Initial competences required Persons with at least primary education and at least 18 years of age. The person must hold a certificate proving that he/she has passed an examination in a job directly or indirectly related to rail transport or a train driver’s licence.
Programme content
  • Lifting equipment. Safe use of lifting cranes Load suspension devices. Purpose and use.
  • The process of lifting and lowering a load.
  • Lifting and lowering of lifting platforms Occupational safety and health.
Programme Completion Document A certificate of attestation is issued to those who pass the examination.
Location Vilnius College of Technologies and Design, Olandų str. 16, Vilnius.
Time New groups will be recruited from 8 May 2023.
Price Courses are organised at times to suit the needs of companies or individuals. The price of the course depends on the number of registrants: 280 EUR per person for groups of at least 10 people.
