Adomas Obsarskas, Elvinas Simanavičius and Dovydas Žutautas (supervised by associate professor Dr. Edita Šarkienė) participated in the annual competition “Lithuanian BIM Projects 2023”. The competition is organised by the Public Institution “Digital Construction” and is aimed at evaluating and selecting the best project developed by Lithuanian companies and higher education institutions using Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies and methodologies.

The students developed the Marketus project for the Elektrėnai Business and Tourism Centre and submitted it for the Best Student BIM Project nomination. All submitted projects were publicly presented at a dedicated event on 14 April 2023. The project was presented on 14 April 2014 at the Vilnius City Municipality Hall. In 2023, the students were awarded the Best Student Project at the International Conference “Digital Construction 2023, Vilnius” on 28 April.
