10 April 2024 A team of first year students from the Faculties of Engineering and Construction participated in the international competition “Learn – Calculate – Remember 2024” at Klaipėda State College and won the 1st place. Student teams from various Lithuanian higher education institutions and the University of Liepaja in Latvia competed in the competition. VTDK was represented by students of the Faculty of Engineering Aurimas Drulys and Artiom Siliuk, students of the Faculty of Construction Viktorija Jurgėlėvič and Ugnė Medzikauskaitė. The students were trained and accompanied by lecturers Kristina Višnevskienė, Janina Janušauskienė and Dr Milda Pečiulienė. During the competition, students had to perform team and individual tasks in mathematics and physics. While the students were solving the tasks, the lecturers took part in the seminar “Media Ecology and the Modern Lecturer”.
