More than 130 school children visit the VTDK

Vilnius College of Technologies and Design – where creativity meets innovation!

Vilnius College of Technologies and Design (VTDK) The Faculties of Technical and Design hosted an event “Open Day 2023”, attended by more than 130 students from grades 10 to 12 from the Gymnasium “Laisvės” in Vilnius, the School of Lazdini in Vilnius, the Gymnasium of Povilas Ksavers Bžostovskis in Turgeliai Povilas Ksavers Bžostovskis in the district of Šalčininkai, the Gymnasium of Grigiskes in Vilnius municipality, and the School of Automechanics and Business in Vilnius.

During the event, the students learned about the possibilities of studying at the College and the changes in the conditions of admission to higher education institutions. After discussions and answers to the students’ questions, the participants were welcomed in the laboratories by lecturers from the Faculties of Technical and Design.

In the laboratories, students were introduced to innovative equipment and saw the project works prepared by students. The first racing car in Lithuania designed by students and teachers to compete in international student competitions, the Formula student, was constructed in accordance with international requirements, the Filmmaking Pavilion and the Sound Recording Studio attracted the attention of the students and teachers.
