Calligraphy courses
The VTDK Calligraphy Courses are designed for people who want to learn how to write beautifully, to develop their artistic abilities, to develop their aesthetic sense, to unleash the creative potential of the human being, and to foster personal growth and development.
Programme
- The variety and applications of the art of calligraphy.
- Calligraphy writing tools and instruments.
- Calligraphy composition techniques.
- The specifics of creating a letter as a sign.
- Creating a monogram.
- Writing calligraphic text using different line rhythms and accents.
- Calligraphic drawing.
| Group: | a group of at least 5 people. |
| Start: | New groups will be recruited from 26 September 2024. |
| Duration: | 4 sessions of 4 academic hours each, 1 session per week (16 academic hours in total) |
| Time: | 1 time a week, Thursdays from 18.00 |
| Location: | Olandų str. 16., Room 268. |
| Price per person: | 100 Eur |
| Lecturer: | Virginija Kalinauskaitė |
| Materials: | pencils, round and flat brushes, calligraphy nibs, ink, paper (A4, A3 size). |
