The VTDK Graphic Art Course is designed for those who want to get acquainted with the specifics of printmaking as an art form, the various printing methods, to help develop artistic taste, creativity and imagination.


  1. A brief overview of graphic art, materials and tools.
  2. Variety of graphic techniques and printing methods. Fine printing and intaglio printing.
  3. Wood, cardboard and linen techniques. Reduction method, duplex.
  4. Etching and dry needle.
  5. Using unconventional materials in graphic art.
  6. Monotype.
Group: a group of at least 5 people.
Start: New groups are being recruited from 2024. 7 November
Duration: 4 sessions of 4 academic hours each, 1 session per week (16 academic hours in total)
Time: New groups are selected from 31 October 2024.
Location: Olandų str. 16., Room 268.
Price per person: 100 Eur
Lecturer: Virginija Kalinauskaitė
Materials: pencils, round and flat brushes, calligraphy nibs, ink, paper (A4, A3 size).
