8 March 2024 Jurgita Ginavičienė and Aurelijus Vaškys, lecturers at the College’s Department of Business and Public Management, participated in a meeting with the pupils and teachers of Kalesninkai Kalesninkai Liudvikas Narbutas Gymnasium.

The participants of the event were informed about the study opportunities at Vilnius College of Technology and Design, the study programmes offered, and the admission procedure at the College.

Olga Kondratchik, a graduate of the Kalesninki Liudvikas Narbutas Gymnasium and a current student of the Vilnius College of Technology and Design, took part in the meeting and shared her personal experience of her studies with the pupils. The student, who is currently working in a transport company, presented her job prospects and the possibilities of combining her studies and work.

The students were also introduced to the College’s faculties and infrastructure: dormitories, sports and cinema halls, lecture halls, laboratories and the equipment used for studying. The participants were most interested in the information about the international projects implemented at the College, the opportunities to study or do an internship in foreign countries, the College’s wide network of social partners and employment opportunities.

Students tested their knowledge by taking part in an active brainstorming competition, with prizes awarded to the winners.

At the end of the event, the speakers gave detailed answers to the questions of the gymnasts.

The gymnasts said goodbye and we hope to see them studying at VTDK!
